Welcome to Bays Mountain Baptist Church, located in the heart of Knoxville! Our church was founded in a spirit of deep faith and commitment by a group of individuals who desired to share the love of God with our community. We are thankful for their unwavering dedication to our church and to our community.
Over the years, Bays Mountain Baptist Church has been blessed with several pastors who have guided and shaped our congregation. Today, we are honored to be led by Pastor Jim Yeary and his wife, Kim. Together, they bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to our community. They inspire and guide us on our faith journey, and we are grateful for their unwavering dedication to our congregation and the surrounding community.

About the Pastor
Pastor Jim Yeary has faithfully led Bays Mountain Baptist Church since 2016, guiding our congregation with wisdom, compassion, and a deep love for God. In addition to his role at the church, he serves as a Chaplain with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and as a full-time Hospice Chaplain, providing spiritual care to those in need.
Pastor Jim’s dedication to serving others is an inspiration to our church family and community. We are grateful for his leadership and invite you to come experience his guidance at Bays Mountain Baptist Church.
We also appreciate the love and support of his wife, Kim, who has stood by his side since 2004. Together, they reflect the strength of faith and commitment that defines our church family.
